what we do
For a song to be included in the soundtrack of an audiovisual production, such as a movie, a series or even a TV commercial, a license for the synchronization rights must be negotiated. We believe that the publisher is essential in this process, both to ensure fair value for composers, and to take care of other aspects of use that preserve the work and image of its creators.
In addition, Rocking Gorillas actively works to promote the songs in their catalog and ensure they find an audience, working alongside our songwriters and business partners around the world.
With a global network of partners, Rocking Gorillas helps its composers find co-authors and co-producers who want to collaborate in the creation of musical works, either in person or remotely. We believe that music knows no boundaries and that collaborating with others can transform and enrich a composer's work, as well as help connect with other audiences.
Rocking Gorillas has partners on 5 continents. We believe that, especially with the advent of digital platforms, it is absolutely important that a composer's copyrights are held globally. Among the countries in which we currently work through partnerships, are: South Africa, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Spain, United States, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Uruguay.
