Alas de Liona

Alas de Liona—and her striking brand of indie-pop—is rapidly ascending, following the September 2024 release of her ethereal, introspective and widely lauded album, Gravity of Gold which is rapidly gathering great praise, airplay, media and streaming. Including from the likes of Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, The Scotsman, BBC Radio Scotland, The Skinny, RTE, The Arts Desk, Fresh On The Net, God Is In The TV, Atwood Magazine, Noctis Magazine and Crack Magazine.

The 11-track album marks a significant milestone in Alas’s musical journey. Produced by Rod Jones at Post Electric Studios in Leith.

Alas also released in October, a bombastic Halloween single titled For Forever, in which a vampire broods on the drawbacks of immortality. For Forever is just one track from de Liona’s Vespertina, a musical screenplay project in the works.
