Marina Melo

Marina Melo is a singer and songwriter from São Paulo. Her work is marked by strong inventiveness, revealed in her lyrics, her humor, and the interactive scripts she creates for her shows. Always attentive to contemporary themes and the occupation of public space, Marina approaches current technologies, affective relationships, and the struggles we have been witnessing between dystopia and utopia in surprising ways.

In 2025, she released Ousar Abrir, her third album of original songs, under the label Dobra Discos, distributed by Altafonte and sponsored by the VII Fomento à Música of the Secretaria de Cultura de São Paulo.

In 2024, she carried out the project Shows Secretos em Plena Praça Pública, in which she brought her original and interactive performance to emblematic public spaces in the city of São Paulo, such as Pinacoteca, Biblioteca Mário de Andrade, Parque da Aclimação, Largo São Bento, among others.

In addition, she has already performed more than 150 original shows, both in Brazil and in Portugal, appearing at festivals, SESCs, CCSP, Itaú Cultural, Studio SP, cultural centers, as well as music venues in São Paulo, Recife, Maceió, and João Pessoa.
